Vacation debriefing!
So, we left at 4:30 in the morning. It was unique waking up at 3, instead of heading to bed at that time. We did the whole hassle of airport security, flying, lines, passport showing, and boarding. When we first boarded the cruise ship, we entered into the extravagant lobby, featuring beautiful wood floors, and awesome glass elevators. The rooms that my sister and I shared we small and cozy, with a nice balcony to boot. We then checked out the food court. It was a dream come true. Burgers, hot dogs, pizza, deli, ice cream, asian, and more. Fantastic! And the pizza bar, as well as the drinks, were open 24/7. It was a dream come true.
We spent the first 2.5 days out at sea. The first island we visited was Porto Rico. The harbor was nice, but the town was kinda dirty, with American advertisements and stores everywhere. We saw blockbusters, Wal-marts, and even a Church's Chicken. The main thing we did there was take a bioluminesence tour. We took an hour bus ride to the entrance to a lagoon, and kayaked about a mile up it, into a big lake. The lake is one of a few places in the world to have the perfect habitat for a special kind of plankton. This plankton releases a chemical when disturbed that gives off a glow. That was pretty cool. Then, we had to kayak out. That was hard work.
The next day we stopped at one of the US Virgin Islands, St. Thomas. The USVI consists of five different islands. One island, nicknamed Hassle Island, is entirely owned by 5 families. St. Thomas was a beautiful place. We took a tour around it, then went shopping in town. I slept through the last island, because it was just a beach excursion. Then we went back to New York.
New York was fun! We saw a broadway play, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. It was HILARIOUS! We also visited the Natural Science Museum, and the Metropolitan, and shopped. We went to Nintendo World, Tiffany's, Macy's, and some little shops. It was pretty cool. And the taxi drivers are insane! And the Marriott-Marquee, were we stayed, was a very fine hotel.
I will have pics of the trip when we get the film developed. I was cheap, and bought disposable cameras.
Aarti, here is the link to the second half of the episode I showed you.

I think the first half is better. Also, if you want to see more, there are other episodes to the right of it. 26 in all. Runs around in underwear! Freakazoid! Freakazoid!

[22 Jul 2006|03:11pm] |
Tomorrow, I will be leaving at 4:30 A.M. on a two week vacation. One week on a cruise to the Caribbean Islands, and the other week spent in New York. I will not have internet access, unfortunatly. And, my parents aren't letting me pull an all nighter tonight, and just sleep once I get to the airport and the plane. Darn. ^_^
I can't believe there is going to be a Transformers Movie. Yes!

Summer is halfway over. How sad is that?
So, my 4th of July was very unpatriotic. I showed my patriotism by wearing me Canada shirt (which somehow got acid holes in it, along with a pair of shorts, and one of Caleb's shirts. Stupid chemistry). We didn't even have red, white, and blue jello this year, or punch! And, we didn't do sparklers either. But we didn't have punch or jello!!!! I was very disappointed with that. I mean, no punch or jello! Gosh.
For some odd reason, I seem hyperactive today. Maybe its from all the pent up energy from the past couple of days. Stupid tests! I shake my fist at thee!
Schliturbahn was fun. Poor Jackie though. In the wave pool, people kept on bumping into her and tripping her. At one, she slipped, and tripped Zane in the process. But it was all fun. The heat was unbearable though. At least the water was nice and cold! Lauren, you and Lindy should have gone on the big bungee drop. That would have been fun to see! XD
Have any of you been watching the new season of The Venture Bros? Funny stuff. You should check it out Zane and Ping. 9:30, Sunday nights on Adult Swim.

 | You scored as Obi-Wan. You are Obi-Wan. One of the coolest guys in the galaxy and also one of the best Jedi masters. You are levelheaded, funny and extremly smart. Others look up to you and you embrace it with love and respect. Sadly you end up having to kill someone you love, but insane decisions are part of your every day lifestyle.

Last Friday I went to see a pediatrist about an ingrown toenail I had. I got it "fixed" last year by my normal doctor, who said he knew what he was doing, but instead made it worse. So, I decided to see a specialist this time. I just signed up for a normal visit. I get there, sign in, and go into the room. The doctor comes in, looks at my toe, and lifts up is pant leg. In his sock were three shots, just sitting there. At first, I had no idea what he was doing. So, he takes one out, turns around, and asks "Are you allergic to anything?" while putting a needle on the shot. Next thing I know, my toe has been numbed, and he does the procedure right then and there. I was shocked! It was the last thing I expected, and there was no pain afterwords, unlike when I had it done before. I didn't have to take pain killers this time, and there was no profuse bleeding. It was very disturbing that he had shots just sitting in his sock, though.
Some good news! I am getting my license tomorrow!

YAY! My first journal entry! Thank you Aarti for putting this wonderful layout together! The force is very strong with this layout.
So, I hate my economics class with a passion. It is SO boring. Think of it as a regular high school class that lasts for 3 hours and 40 min. There are college kids in the class, that had questions about finding the slope of a linear line! Whenever I walk into that class, I want to shot myself out of boredom. Gahh! And my government teacher has a habit of flipping back his hair while he paces in front of the room, and he likes to say "Thats FanTASTIC." His random tangents are interesting though.
I have been reading my new Star Wars book, and its pretty good. Wedge is as badass as ever. He escaped from a Galatic Alliance holding building without any outside help (they were holding him because he is a retired general from Corellia, and Corellia and the GA aren't getting along). Plus, we finally get to see and hear about one of his daughters, who has taken Wedge's profession, and she is as badass as her father. HAHAHAHA, the Antilles family rules all. Also, Jacan Solo, the son of Han and Leia, seems to be slowly falling to the darkside. And, the GA seems to be falling apart as well. And Anjali, it is not fanfiction. George Lucas has to okay everything before it is published. It is still his story.
Summer. The eternal bliss of staying up late, and hopefully sleeping in. I also got a video ipod the other day. I have all my CD's, which amounts to about 50 songs, along with Tunic Tunic Tun, and every episode of RedvsBlue (the thing that Sam always watched in Debate) on it. Its pretty sweet. I am also going to buy quicktime pro, and put all the Star Wars movies, Stargate, Monty Python movies, and every Cowboy Bebop episode on there as well. Its going to be so cool! Star Wars, on the go!
What else? Oh, on Halo, for the fun of it, I made a character all pink, with an emblem consisting of a white heart with crimson lips in the center. Then, when I go into games, I get called a fag or a homo by a bunch of prepubescent children. When the game starts, I then proceed to wipe the floor with their bodies. It is always fun to stick it back to idiots who, at the age of eight, know more cuss words then I did when I was 14. And they also try to rap, in which they fail miserably.
Natalie, I found this the other day, and I think you would like it.

And now, the big moment. I hereby launch my first journal entry with this video. Here is what it would be like if Bush was a jedi. hehe
